Wiener Kindl

The hotel, which is now in the hands of the family Kindl/ Prokop for four generations, was built in Art Nouveau style at the turn of the 19th/20th century - in 1890. Originally, it was a typical Viennese multi-storey dwelling with lavatories in the hallway and an inn on the ground floor.

 

After the 2nd world war, the hotel developed from an inn to a hotel with 6 guest rooms. Over time the different apartments in the building were rebuilt into individually furnished hotel rooms. As a result the, nowadays, existing Viennese 3*category hotel with 26 hotel rooms and a beautiful inner courtyard developed - caring the name “Hotel Wiener Kindl”.

 

The hotel is situated in the 22nd district of Vienna and provides you an ideal starting position for outdoor activities and excursions in and around Vienna. Whether, you are planning a relaxing day at the well-known “Donauinsel” or an exciting day by doing some sightseeing – is up to you.

 

Two very beautiful recreational areas of Vienna,“Lobau” (national park) and the “Donauinsel”, are easily reachable from our hotel.   

You can reach Vienna’s city centre within 15-20 minutes by public transport.

While selecting our hot beverages, we also carefully pay attention to quality. Our assortment of coffee only consists of fair-trade coffee. For those who drink either tea than coffee we have a wide range of tea varieties made by the teahouse “Demmer”.
